This is one of the most delicate bone carvings. It shows the scene of Canton (Guangzhou City) 100-150 years ago. The architecture of the house, the doors which can only be seen in South of China, in Canton. The 2 short panels of short front doors can be open, the right sliding door can also be open, and the tall back door can be locked and open from behind, see pictures for details. The old lady is sewing for the grand kids, with a dog next to the family. On both panels of the doors, it is hand painted with traditional Chinese custums. One of a kind.
