This is an Ancient Chinese Creature named Pixiu or Kylin. It is made from one solid piece of Jade. It appears light green, dark green, antique brown with some area black. It is believed to change your feng shui and protect you and the family from bad things.
Pixiu should be placed towards open sources, such as windows or doorway. It observes all energy, fate, and fortune from outside and save it for you. It shouldn't be placed in a tight closed location like under table.
